By downloading, accessing, or using the CaresFor mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms govern your use of CaresFor. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of service
CaresFor is a mobile application platform designed to connect caregivers and family members. The service provides real-time updates, care coordination tools, and communication features to streamline the caregiving journey.
3. User roles and accounts
- Primary account holders: individuals or agencies who manage the main subscription and invite others.
- Invited users: family members or professional caregivers who are granted access to a specific care circle by a primary account holder.
4. No medical advice
Important: CaresFor is an information-sharing and organizational tool only. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. In an emergency, call 911 immediately.
5. Subscription and payments
Access to certain features may require a paid subscription. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account.
6. User responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of any data entered into the App, such as medication schedules or vitals, and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
7. Real-time notifications
While we strive for instant updates, CaresFor is not liable for delayed or missed push notifications caused by network issues, device settings, or third-party service interruptions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaresFor shall not be liable for the actual quality of care provided by users or for any medical outcomes resulting from the use of the platform.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in misuse of the platform.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada.
